Blippar ranks 19th on 2015 CNBC Disruptor 50

We were thrilled to be named ‘the London tech firm that’s hotter than Spotify’ by London’s Evening Standard this week, after CNBC placed us 19th on their 2015 Disruptor 50 list among tech giants including Airbnb, Uber, Pinterest and Spotify.

The list comprises firms CNBC considers ‘forward-thinking upstarts [which] have identified unexploited niches in the marketplace’, so our visual browsing app is in terrific company. We are extremely proud to have been placed on it; the whole company has worked phenomenally hard to make this happen.

BBC News also visited our London office to take a tour, interview our CEO Ambarish Mitra and see the new version of the app in action. And as if that wasn’t enough, American stock exchange Nasdaq then gave us a huge shoutout about our spot on CNBC's list on their enormous digital billboards in Time Square in New York. Take a look at it on Twitter, here.

All in all, a big week down at Blippar HQ. Let's see what the next one has in store!
