Blippar Turkey wins two Mixx Awards for Pepsi 'Pek Yakinda' mobile augmented reality campaign

Blippar Turkey is thrilled to have been presented with two prizes at the prestigious Mixx Awards Turkey 2014.

The team took home the silver award for their design role in an Augmented Reality campaign for PepsiCo project Pepsi Pek Yakinda, and bronze for their design role in the Mobile Campaigns section for the same campaign. Watch a video of the awards, held this month, here.

Speaking about the win, Pepsi’s Marketing Services Manager Zeynep Izgi said: 'Mobile is one of the most powerful mediums in today's world, so we knew using it in an innovative way was crucial if we were to build a truly 360º Pepsi campaign.

'Blippar was the perfect fit, enabling us to pack exciting and exclusive Pek Yakinda digital content into Pepsi products, which our fans accessed using the mobile phone already sitting in their pocket. Blippar also provided us with powerful real-time user data by monitoring exactly how many people were interacting with the Pepsi Pek Yakinda blipps, where, when, for how long and how frequently. Tracking engagement metrics in this way has enabled us to measure return on investment like never before.'
